Statement

of Faith

1. We believe that the entire Bible (Tenach and New Covenant) is the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of G-d, and is the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice.

2. We believe there is one G-d who is eternally existent in The Father, His Son (the Messiah Yeshua) and the Ruach hakodesh (Holy Spirit) (Prov. 30:24; Is. 9:6-7; Is. 48:12-16; Mt. 3:16-17).

3. We believe that Messiah Yeshua:

  • Was bom of a virgin (Ps. 2; Pr. 30:4; Is. 7:14)
  • Led a sinless life (Heb. 4: 1 S; Is. 53: 1 0; Lev. 6:6-7)
  • Performed miracles (Is. 61:1-3; Mt. 11:5; Jn. 21:25)
  • By identification with us, became our substitute, our atonement, by the shedding of His blood (Is. S3; Lev. 17:11, 14)
  • Died and His body was resurrected on the third day (Ps. 16: 1 0; Is. 53:10-12; Luke 24: 25-Z7; Ps. 2:7-9; Dan 7:13-28)
  • Returned to the right hand of our Father in Heaven (Ps. I IO: 1; Mt. 22:41-46; Acts 2:24-36; Acts 7:55-S6)
  • Will return to Jerusalem, Israel to reign in power and glory (Acts1: I 1; Ps. 2:6; Dan. 7:13-28; Rev. 2 1 &22; Is. 2:2-4; Deut. 18: 1 S).

4. We believe that because of Adam's sin mankind has inherited a sin nature. G-d's only means for cleansing sin is through repentance and faith in the Messiah's atoning death and resurrection. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

5 . We believe in the ongoing ministry of the Ruach hakodesh, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a godly life, and that the immersion in the Holy Spirit with all the gifts of the Holy Spirit is available to believers today.

6. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the redeemed and the unredeemed to experience the eternal judgment of G-d; the former to the resurrection of life, and the latter to the resurrection of condemnation.

7. We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in the L-rd Yeshua the Messiah.

8. We believe that as Jewish followers of Yeshua the Messiah, we are called to maintain our Jewish Biblical heritage and remain a part of our people Israel while also affirming our place in the universal body of Messiah.
